On Sunday, September 14th, 2025,

Mr. Guhdar Shekho, Head of the Zakho Independent Administration, visited the Presidency of the University of Zakho.

He was received by Prof. Dr. Diyar Abdulkarim Saeed, President of the University of Zakho, together with members of the University Council.

During the meeting, several significant administrative and academic matters concerning the University of Zakho were discussed. On the occasion of the commencement of the new academic year, Mr. Guhdar Shekho conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to all students of the University.

Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to mutual cooperation and emphasised the importance of continued governmental support for the University of Zakho’s advancement.
